FishingGear.ie started online trading in late 2020. Up to this point, our fishing gear was sold in small supplies at the Mace store in Waterville, Kerry
At Mace, we sell online fishing permits for Inland Fisheries Ireland and with no fishing tackle shop nearby we started to carry small lines of fishing equipment at local anglers request.
Items such as Line, feathers and frozen bait were very popular but we soon realised that we couldn’t carry as many lines of the various products that we would like to.
With space being an issue we decided to go online, broaden our range and offer a greater selection for our customers.

We still carry a small quantity at our store****, but now we can offer so much more with an online presence.
Parcels are packaged and are collected by our courier service each afternoon and brought to the courier hub for distribution.
We also offer a click and collect service if this is more suitable where you can collect your purchase at the Mace store.
We are always looking to expand our range so if there is a particular item that you are looking for, please feel free to contact us and we will do our best to get the item in stock or find the best price available for you.
